The Whiteman Airport Association is an alliance between Whiteman tenants, American Airports Corporation management, Los Angeles County, the Whiteman Control Tower and the Pacoima area community.  The goal is to keep the airport open and operating efficiently and safely.  It will enable all parties concerned with the airport to work together toward that goal.

The organization is based, for the most part, on AOPA's suggested guidelines for organizing an airport group.
